>The STAFFORD MECHANICS SHOW returns to the county showground, ST18 0BD. Advance admission from 9am. Racing titans Carl Fogarty and Frankie Chili will be reunited at this month’s Stafford Show on October 12/13, to relive the legendary battles, victories and fierce rivalry from the heyday of the world superbike championship in the 1990s. Four-times world champ Fogarty and multiple race-winner Chili will take to the stage on both days, adding superstar sparkle to the weekend’s proceedings.
This event also celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Ducati 916, hosts a two-day Bonhams auction and will showcase more than a thousand bikes across the club displays and private entries. There will be hundreds of indoor and outdoor trade and autojumble stalls, specialist and accessory trade stands, stunt displays, action in the GP paddock, live music, camping and refreshments.
